Up Copenhagen Legoland

In October 2001 we visited Denmark. A place that really surprised me with its open honesty and friendly people.

We had a successful ferry journey out to Esbjerg from Harwich and then caught a train to Copenhagen where we were staying for the whole of the trip. The hotel we stayed in was the Hotel Tiffany right in the heart of Copenhagen. We stayed here for 5 nights in which time we had a day trip to Legoland and a trip over to Malmo in Sweden. The one thing that most surprised me was the ease of use of public transport when we took our day trip from Copenhagen to Legoland. The same ticket covered the one journey which was part train and part bus, and all stops were clearly detailed which actually made the journey very easy. Copenhagen itself was a wonderfully relaxed place where nothing was too much trouble for anyone and everyone's English was also excellent which helped!

Take a look at the galleries and be amazed at what can be done with Lego!
